Bug Description

So I installed the latest update for the Nvidia drivers (version 375.66-0ubuntu0.17.04.1 to be precise) and when I rebooted, the boot process was stuck with the following message:

"Started GNOME display manager.ss......p link was shut down...."

I am not sure what happened, but I had to boot to recovery mode and change to the intel drivers from there to make my machine boot again. I don't think this is supposed to happen.
