Bug Description

If I lock the screen with ctrl+alt+L, then close the laptop lid, wait a few seconds, reopen the lid, and type my password, the screen goes black for a few seconds and then returns to the login screen. When I type my password again, it starts a new desktop session and all my old windows are lost.

This happens every time. It doesn't happen if I just close the laptop lid without locking it first.
