Latest upgrade (likely) breaks the font in Firefox

Bug Description

I've tested both latest Nightly and Firefox as of now with fresh profiles. When fonts-lato is installed, web pages using it do not show any text, one such example is https://nodejs.org/api/
I haven't seen anything similar with other fonts, so I've made a conclusion that this is an issue with package (web font from Google Fonts works perfectly fine).

I'm on Artful right now.

I just noticed this in one of my projects. This does seem to be a recent change. I also have just upgraded to Artful. The font displays correctly in Chromium, GNOME Fonts, etc. Not quite sure what is going on.
