Extended Display fails in 17.04

Bug Description

Extended display fails after upgrading to 17.04, even after installing the latest released driver it appears as if the second screen is not discovered.

For the connection i use a normal VGA port.
Now i am working trough Nouveau and its working fine.

Please try 18.04 - nouveau has had several updates since 17.04
