documented username/password for live session does not work

Bug Description

linuxmint-18.1-cinnamon-32bit.iso in a USB live session.

screensaver asks for login. username "mint" with blank password does not work.

It has happened with 19. A long inactivity caused a screen lock, and it prompts a password for "Live session user". It doesn't work by simply typing enter.

..sorry, that was a wrong information. The user was actually using a Mint 12 when that happened. I will try to replicate it on 19 just to be sure.
