Bug Description
It would be useful for automated removal of inactive patrons if the user activity tracking added in bug 942631 would include the date (not the time) of a patron's last chekout or renewal activity.
This would be useful for processes like remove all expired patrons who have had no activity in X years. If you are currently aging circulations, you can see the last time a patron used SIP or logged into the OPAC, but not the last time that they checked out an item.
I think this should have a setting to control the granularity of the data stored, i.e. down to the day, the month, or just the year.
And/or an option to enable the feature with it being disabled by default.
Some preference has been expressed in IRC for the former.
