Bug Description
Currently test undo_tablespaces.sh may hang during --apply-log in MariaDB 10.2

Provided analysis gives strong reasons to suspect this commit from 1618555

Custom build of 2.4.7 without that commit doesn't show any problem in 10.2
I wasn't able to reproduce the same issue with MySQL 5.7.18 , but we still consider this as a bug in Xtrabackup (because those lines are different from upstream InnoDB) and suggest to consider fixing 1618555 the same way as the fix in MDEV-12091
