Keyboard shortcuts don't honor dvorak keymap

Hi!

I have my keymap set to dvorak in Ubuntu, but inkscape (and only inkscape)
still uses qwerty-mapped key shortcuts (ie. C-c, C-v work with the qwerty
positions). Other applications such as gedit honor the dvorak keymap for
their keyboard shortcuts.

Writing into text boxes inside Inkscape honors dvorak -- it's just the
keyboard shortcuts that insist on qwerty.

Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem in both Ubuntu and Windows. However there is a workaround for it.

I have both Dvorak (a Swedish variant) and Qwerty enabled to be able to switch to Qwerty when a friend uses my computer. If I have both enabled Inkscape seems to mess up the short cuts (to be Qwerty locations even though I'm having the Dvorak layout selected). If I remove the Qwerty layout the short cuts are fixed to Dvorak short cuts again.

Removing the Qwerty layout is your friend!

This problem is apparently not specific to dvorak keyboard because I’m also having the same problem with both keyboard layout enable with a personalised one. It’s probably related to mixed keyboard layout as @Ola said.
