Hello,

I haven't updated this code for a while, and nowadays it should not be useful anymore: on my distro (Ubuntu 17.04), it seems there is already ACPI event files and scripts for Asus laptops.

So yes I can put this on Github, but I do not know if it worth it.

Sure it is worth it. Dudes are copy-pasting it through their repos (because there's no way to use git submodules). Also I saw ebuilds in Gentoo overlays on github using (depending on) your scripts. It's also mentioned in Arch wiki. I'd love to submit fix for supporting old and new kernels (asus_laptop -> asus-nb-wmi, #1184514), for example.
