Bug Description

I'm using Ubuntu Gnome 17.04, with everything updated. When I click the upper right corner, then the power button, the "Power Off" button is highlighted in a blue outline and I have to click on any part of the screen once before it will let me click reboot or cancel. Before the extra click all I'm able to do is press shutdown.

Picture of the odd blueness attached, please tell me if you have any further questions or need anything else from me. I replicated this on two different devices, though only on UHD or 4k monitors, but I don't think that makes a difference.

This sounds like bug 1683867 to me.

Bug 1683867 is part of what I'm describing here. That bug has no mention of the odd blue thing or the issues with the cancel button. I do apologize for not seeing the previous post.

If you want to roll the cancel button issue and blue thing into that bug, or this bug into that one, that makes the most sense to me.

I had to take a video of rebooting in Ubuntu Gnome 17.04 to report some other bugs, so here's a video of this phenomenon if it helps anyone.

(Sorry that it's vertical, YouTube won't let me turn it without installing flash)

Please let me know if you have any questions or need me to test anything.
