Bug Description

STEPS:
1. Install ubuntu-gnome 17.04
2. update it
3. click on Activities
4. type krita, blender

EXPECTED:
I expect to see listed under the gnome-software the option to install one of the apps

ACTUAL:
I get a message of No Results

This only happens if both the deb and snap are not installed, under wayland snaps are not recognised at all due to the XDG_DATA_DIRS not listing it.
Wayland:
/home/davmor2/.local/share/flatpak/exports/share/:/var/lib/flatpak/exports/share/:/usr/local/share/:/usr/share/

X11:
/usr/share/gnome:/home/davmor2/.local/share/flatpak/exports/share/:/var/lib/flatpak/exports/share/:/usr/local/share/:/usr/share/:/var/lib/snapd/desktop

WORKAROUND:
For now both apps appear in gnome-software no problems just not as suggestions in the overview.
