Bug Description

The latest release (version 2.2.11) has a critical bug affecting real-world workloads (http://sphinxsearch.com/bugs/view.php?id=2565), and the upstream maintainers do not release a fix.

I suggest Ubuntu sticks with version 2.2.10 for now, until this is resolved.
