Bug Description

When driving monitors via a displaylink usb3 hub performance drops to an unacceptable level. The cursor blinks and I'm unable to reconfigure the screens in "Screen Display" as it errors.

Ubuntu 16.04 (xenial) reached end-of-standard-support on April 29, 2021.
