Bug Description
Hello, Bug #1684896 includes a sha3-384 mismatch and the error message was a bit hard on my eyes. I suggest rendering the hash via base64 or similar scheme that can shorten the output.
It might also be nice if the error message confirmed that the sizes matched or not.

This is a nice idea and I would suggest to discuss it in the forum. We'll probably close it soon as we're trying to make use of the forum for discussions and keep launchpad for strict bugs.
