Hi,
I see in your logs that Tomcat8 didn't start after the upgrade.
Was it starting before? Often misconfigured servers are around that people don't care/need anymore, but on package upgrade they show up as part of the upgrade process is to restart them.

I'd recommend to check the error log at: /var/log/tomcat8/catalina.out

Also it could be a dup of bug 1586054 - from there you could try the workaround to change the JDK provider as seen in comment #7 there.

I hope that helps you to get you going, please report back here.
Other than that there is not yet enough information in this bug to help you further (Details on the Error and steps to reproduce), so for now I'm marking it incomplete.
