17.04 rdesktop crash

Hello!

After upgrading to 17.04 rdesktop crashes while connecting to windows 2003:

dm@dm:~$ LANG=C rdesktop -g 1024x758 elk
Failed to negotiate protocol, retrying with plain RDP.
Ошибка сегментирования (стек памяти сброшен на диск)

Previous version , i.e. from 16.10 works just fine though..

I'm seeing the same behaviour when connecting to Windows 2012.

$ rdesktop -z -5 -a32 -g1200x700 -xl -P x.x.x.x
Failed to negotiate protocol, retrying with plain RDP.
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Well, bug is still not even assigned, so looks like canonical will not fix this.

After downloading the newest version of rdesktop from https://github.com/rdesktop/rdesktop and recompiling it works fine. Could you please generate a new package?

I have just upgraded to Ubuntu 18.04 with rdesktop 1.8.3-2build1 and it does the same thing. The old (v1.8.3) version still works fine.

If this only happens on Windows 2003, I don't see it getting fixed given
that it's an end of life product. I have no issues with rdesktop to
Windows 2008 upwards with rdesktop 1.8.3.

well, such position will not bring ubuntu more users :-)
