Bug Description

Summary:
Preferences defaults to "Scan Side: Front and Back" but only the front of the document is scanned.

Version:
simple-scan-3.24.0-1.fc26.x86_64
sane-backends-libs-1.0.25-7.fc26.x86_64
libsane-hpaio-3.16.11-7.fc26.x86_64
perl-Sane-0.05-15.fc26.x86_64

Reproducible:
Always with simple-scan. gscan2pdf using sane backend scans both sides of a page in one shot.

Reproduce steps:
0. Launch with -d
1. Preferences, Scan Side set to Front and Back
2. Scan either text or photo mode.

Actual result:

One page document, front page only.

Expected results:

Two page document, front and back pages.

Ahah! One part UI miscue, and two parts user error!

If I click the Scan button I get the described results. If I click the arrow to the right of the scan button and choose "Single Page", I get the described results. If I click "All Pages From Feeder" I get both pages, as expected.

So at worst it's a cosmetic bug. Functionality is present.
