Zesty: Touchpad natural scrolling doesn't work

Bug Description

After upgrading to zesty touchpad natural scrolling (Reversed scrolling) doesn't work.

[added] additionaly, changing primary button from left to right does not work.

Same here. Changing the settings in System Preferences > Mouse & Touchpad does not appear to do anything.

Make sure that xserver-xorg-input-synaptics is not installed. If you remove it, restart your computer.

I added this as a Known Bug in the Ubuntu GNOME 17.04 release notes.

I'm not sure there is much else we can do about this in 17.04. Maybe this will be better in 17.10 when Ubuntu's default install will no longer need xserver-xorg-input-synaptics.
