Bug Description

Hi,
I changed key binding for mate-hud as you can sea bellow

INFO:root:Press <Ctrl>1 to handle keybinding and quit

When I try to use libreoffice writer 5.3 with mate-hud 16.10 i get something like this:

mate-hud show options from writer but after click nothing happens

no longer affects: ubuntu-mate
