juju should retry failed update-status hooks

I think juju should retry update-status hook runs that fail. We see various charms that fail during the update-status hook call that a simple run of "juju resovled --retry" fixes and it would be nice if juju would do that automatically a limited number of times.

Not all failure cases of an update-status hook can be handled in within the hook itself and it would be generally helpful rather than every charm having to handle all possible failure modes.

What version of Juju are you running? I thought we did auto-retry most hook failures.

The environment that reminded me to file this bug is running juju 1.25.6, but I'm pretty sure I have seen it in 1.25.10 also.

If juju2 auto-retries most hook failures then that is good news.

I now see that information in the juju 2 docs now that I know to search for auto retry.
