Bug Description

After installing the latest updates yesterday, I suddenly got kicked out of my session and was shown the login prompt again.

After logging in and working as usual the same thing happened again after about 30 minutes.

Looking at the memory usage after logging in I can see it steadily climbing up. Currently there are 15 GB of RAM and 14 GB of Swap used even after closing all running desktop applications!

I actually got kicked out of my session while writing this bug report. Attached to this report is a syslog dump from an earlier crash.

What can I do to debug this problem? Closing applications does not free the memory again...

This seems to be fixed now. I am running for 2 hours and the ram usage stays constant.

The only updated packages were the lib-mesa drivers from http://ppa.launchpad.net/oibaf/graphics-drivers/ubuntu

I'll report back in a few hours and close the ticket if everything works as expected.
