Bug Description
Current selection style is broken.
Now impossible to select small object by clicking directly to object point on small zoom.Need to enlarge zoom,select and zoom out back. What low distance nearby object is selecting.
Need to do more careful selection.
If I click in visible pixel of small object(less 10% of screen size) -THIS object selecting but NOT over nearby object.
If I click on empty space or big object(more 10% of screen size)-current algorithm used.
This may work without any key shortcuts.

I've already tried several years ago to raise attention on this problem but it still hasn't been addressed. I'm glad to see someone else voicing this issue.
