Hi, is there something specific you did to reproduce this? Would you mind installing libgtk-3-0-dbgsym and libmirclient9-dbgsym and trying again?

Yes, all you have to do is try to run Aisleriot in Unity8. Does it work for you without crashing?

Jeremy Bícha (jbicha) wrote :

My crash was because I was incorrectly trying to run aisleriot from a terminal.

I was able to run aisleriot successfully by clicking its icon in the Applications list or by running it via ubuntu-terminal-app with either of these two ways:
ubuntu-app-launch sol
sol -- --desktop_file_hint=sol.desktop

I don't know what the original reporter's problem was. apport says that /usr/share/applications/sol.desktop has been modified?
