Bug Description

When we create a user for MAAS with /without admin privilege , we don't have a way to restrain user using some resources .

I have 10 developpers , so i want to create 10 user accounts , and i want to affect for each user , only 4 machines .

My idea is to associate with each user a property ( tag , zone ,space , or what you want ) , so example when this user start a juju charm in can only use machines that was affected to him .

This property must be only manageable by a admin user .

Hi There,

MAAS was designed in a way that users and admins both have access to the same pool of machines. If you want to restrict things different, then this requires feature work to support RBAC and machine pools.

At the moment, that's not within the core MAAS team roadmap, but patches are always welcome!

If you are interested on working on such feature, please do reach out.
