Left click on long emails in Pantheon email causes page to scroll down

Opening up pantheon-mail 1.0.5 in elementary OS 0.4 Loki.
Click on email which is longer than the screen can show, ie scrollable.
Left clicking in the open email causes the open email to jump down, scroll down a bit.

This happens only once while the email is open. If I continue to click in the open email it behaves as expected and doesn't jump. If I go to a different email and back, it happens again. This behavior occurs on all emails that are longer and scrollable.

This is annoying as I try to click emails in the email and it jumps down instead of clicking the link.
