Bug Description

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install Ubuntu MATE 16.04 LTS
2. Use it
3. Create PNG image and put it on the Desktop (for example image.png)
4. Change image.png
5. Reboot computer
6. Get high CPU usage on thumbnail creation of the new ~/Desktop/image.png

Temporarily solution:
Disable thumbnail creation in Caja (Edit|Preferences, Preview, Other Previewable Files, Show thumbnails -> Never). Then re-enable them (Edit|Preferences, Preview, Other Previewable Files, Show thumbnails -> Local Files Only).

Still happens using caja 1.24.0-1 on Ubuntu 20.04.1.
Caja was apparently trying to generate a thumbnail for an odt (LibreOffice text document) file on the Desktop: when I disabled the thumbnail generation for text files, the high CPU usage stopped.

Is there any procedure to obtain a log from caja? Or to inspect what's going on in the attempt to generate the thumbnail?
