Bug Description

When using antialiasing for OpenGL (Preferences -> Display) there are some visual issues with the cursor and the grid.

Subpixel Antialiasing (both High and Ultra quality): Black cursor. Really hard to see the cursor. See image bellow.

Supersampling (2x): White cursor, but really low visibility of the grid.

Grid lines are now covered by lp:1675311. This issue can be for the black cursor.

Interestingly, this is /not/ caused by subpixel AA causing a 1-px line to look black. Widening the line to 3px still results in a black cursor.

Also, the black isn't pure black, it's a dark colour that varies on zoom level. When there's a lot of green on screen, it can be drak green, and a lot of red can make it dark red.

firewalker: can you confirm it is still a problem? I remember seeing this as well, but now it looks fine on my PC. I am marking the report as 'incomplete', waiting for feedback.

The issue with the cursor seems to be ok now.

There is an issue with the dots of the grid. It fades when subpixel antilising is enabled.

@Nick, feedback regarding black cursor or grid dots? Has it been fixed by the recent OpenGL shader changes?

@Jeff, I was just reffering to firewalkers comment in #4. I don't know what the current state is
