XML editor window scroll bug

Hi!

Inkscape 0.43.2 on WinXP SP2. Clean install.

I found a bug with the scrollbar of the XML editor
window: when I select an SVG tag (on the left panel of
the XML editor window) to edit its attributes (in the
right panel), the scrollbar doesn't appear even when
the number of lines is bigger than the right panel's
height. But as soon as I resize the XML editor's
window, it appears.

It is not a very serious bug since it doesn't affect
the possibility to edit XML, so I put a 3 to the
priority level.

Is that caused by the GUI? Can this be fixed?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Inkscape better. You reported this bug a long while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Inkscape release? Thanks in advance.

No longer reproduced with dockable XML Editor in current trunk (see bug #940715): the dialog always shows the scrollbar if the list of attributes is longer than what fits into the frame.

(tested with r12168 using docked, detached and floating dialog (prefs))
