Bug Description
(My apologies in advance if this is not the place to post this.)
In freya when renaming a file the cursor selected the name minus the extension so it was easy to just type the new name of the file. In loki it seems that it selects the whole filename including the extension.
IMHO the old behaviour is better and more user friendly as not only it makes it faster to rename files but also it makes it harder for an inexperience user to change the extension unwillingly.
elementary OS 0.4 Loki

Confirmed for ListView and ColumnView. It works as expected in IconView.
