App frozen on launch

Bug Description

I added a few podcasts via the search feature so maybe it's related. Logviewer says: QObject::startTimer: Timers cannot be started from another thread

Version 0.8 on E4.5.

Sometimes the app starts with a black screen, then the icons appear semi-transparent for about 5 - 10 seconds and then become visible. But I still can't interact.

In case it's relevant, here's my disk usage. It looks very different to a desktop installation so I don't know how to interpret:
