This is a dual boot system and when I boot with Windows 10, I am able to find wireless networks and connect successfully with the same hardware.

Tried workaround mentioned in How do I get a Realtek RTL8723BE wireless card to work? but did not help.

Ubuntu is able to find wireless connection at home without any problem. When I go to a library, that's when Ubuntu fails to pick up any wireless network.

Rebooted Ubuntu and captured syslog messages when I was in a library. Syslog messages available at

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

Could not find a right source package. Chose the closest one 'wireless-crda'. Please assign it to the right component.
