After connecting to xrdp login screen shown. Logging in terminates session

Bug Description

After connection to xrdp the login screen is shown.
After logging in the session is terminated after showing X11-default background for a few seconds.

Connected from Windows using "mstsc /v:<servername>

After login in using "xsession-xorgxrdp". For a few seconds standard X11 background is shown, then the session terminates. From Logs everything looks OK. Session opened, X11 initialized, but then session terminates immediately without any error.

Starting a session with "session-xvnc" leads to "VNC error - problem connecting"

Marking as Invalid because the release is EOL is not correct. Marking as Incomplete. Also, 18.04 is (at the time of writing) still in development, and you should expect some breakage.

Reporter, is this still present on 17.10 or 16.04?
