Bug Description

Hi,

Some time ago I received the following bug in Debian's
BTS at
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=301984 :

"When I try to convert the attached svg file into eps,
inkscape displays a dialog box with the following text:
"inkscape encountered an internal error and will close
now".
The svg was produced with this version of inkscape.
I've already managed to convert several other files
into eps without any problem. The conversion of this
file began to fail when I changed all fonts from `Free
Sans' to `Nimbus Sans' and played with
grouping/degrouping. Reverting the fonts to `Free Sans'
does not solve the problem.
I'm using the french locale on a Debian GNU/Linux
unstable, kernel 2.6.10, libc6
2.3.2.ds1-20.
Attached are the svg file and the backtrace."

The bug was reported by Vincent Hennebert and I can
reproduce the crash here with current cvs as well as
the package currently in debian. It doesn't matter if I
use the print dialog and print as bitmap or using PS
operators. I attach his svg and bt.

Thanks,

Wolfi

Hi bulia,

You closed this bug saying it is fixed in cvs. Could you
please send me a pointer to patch or to the files you
changed? I could not isolate a patch from cvs but I would
like to backport the fix into debian's package of 0.41

Thanks,

Wolfi
