Systemd control does not work

radicale 1.1.1-1 on Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS

Start/restart with systemd not working, result ist "ok", but no radicale process started.

Systemlog:

Feb 11 17:59:22 alfred systemd[1]: Started LSB: Radicale CalDAV and CardDAV server.
-- Subject: Unit radicale.service has finished start-up
-- Defined-By: systemd
-- Support: http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/systemd-devel

-- Unit radicale.service has finished starting up.

-- The start-up result is done

Radicale is started on boot only.

one quick and dirty solution:
/run/systemd/generator.late# rm radicale.service
systemctl daemon-reload

Radicale stopped working and I am not able to restart it.
