Bezier tool: Snap to grid doesn't snap first point

Bug Description
When I turn on snap to grid, then do a "Draw Bezier
curves or straight lines", the first point does not
snap to the grid. Subsequent points however do.
I'm using version 0.41 on Debian PowerPC.
(also a minor quibble: the grid controls were in a
non-obvious menu item, at least to me -- i would have
expected a "grid options" type item below "View/Grid")
