Can't search with the metarecord modifier on from the home screen.

As explained here[1], we've reimplemented the ability to allow metarecord searching by default in the TPAC from the front page (and all other pages that don't have a "Group Formats & Editions" UI component). Branch forthcoming, once I have a bug number...
