Watch for new mail switches off on reboot

Running loki and up to date version of mail. I have a single gmail account and I switch the watch new mail on. Killing the application and starting it up again does not reset the switch. Rebooting causes it to switch back to off. Do you have the dconf settings resetting on boot temporarily to work around the window dimension stretching bug? If so it should be possible to be more specific with which settings are being reset to avoid disabling startup notifications. If not I think it's a bug that should be addressed.
