Bug Description
In bug #1645126 the behavior was reverted from autosizing to remembering whatever the user has set in terms of column positions in the main window... today I was wondering why I didn't see it working in 5.1.3, and it turns out that I typically exit homebank by doing Ctrl+Q (or ctrl+W, alt+F4, etc.) instead of clicking on the big X in the window decoration, and that the code paths seem to be different: clicking the X saves the column settings, but using the keyboard shortcuts does not.
summary: |
- Columns and window pane positioning settings are only saved when using - the window manager's close (X) button, not menus or keyboard shortcuts + main window size/position saved only when using wm close (X) button |
