Bug Description

Evergreen 2.10

When a brief record is created via the acquisitions module and then loaded into the catalogue (without matching and merging into an existing record) the brief record does not contain a 008 field.

This causes problems in cataloguing if staff need to manually update the brief record because in the MARC Editor when you click on "Add/Replace 008" nothing happens.

The workaround is:
Open the Flat Text Editor
Add =008
Uncheck "Flat Text Editor" so you are on the regular MARC edit interface
Right Click on 008 -> Choose Add/Replace 008
Save Record
You can now edit the 008 in the grid.

There appear to be two possible solutions.
1. When a brief record is created in acquisitions a 008 field with characters 00-05 (Date entered on file) is inserted into the record, similar to how a default Leader is created.
2. When you click Add/Replace 008 have it add a 008 field if one does not already exist in the record.
