Bug Description

Steps:
* switch to En layout
* type "bar"
* change to Pl layout
* type "dz"
* select the auto-completed "bardzo"

Expected:
* "bardzo" is put into the input field

Current:
* "barbardzo" is put into the input field

This seems to happen, more generally, when you edit any word.
For example:

  - type "prin"
  - select "prince" from the autocompletion
  - type "s"
  - select "princes" from the autocompletion

and you'll get "princeprinces".
