Bug Description
Hi,
When using a desktop environment that doesn't have libindicator (everything except unity?) there is no way to control variety.
variety should detect that and fallback to use the icon tray

With the porting to Ayatana indicators underway, it looks like more desktops (Xfce, MATE) have support for indicators. Besides the situation of GNOME 3 support (tracked @ https:/ /github. com/varietywall s/variety/ issues/ 12), is this still an issue?
