My-weather has no function. no data display. preferences non modal and missing icons. preferences are non modal (grayed out). Indicator icon missing along with wind and precipitation. No values are displayed in indicator or drop-down. Program seems to be calling but no data received. Tried Open Weather Map and Yahoo and Weather Underground will not activate API key. This is the only App indicator that would work for Laurinburg, NC. None of the others have local weather, so I would like my-weather-indicator to work. One time it crashed on load complaining about a URL/IP, but I did not record the URL/IP and I can't find it in the logs, however id did find :

Also I am not using Ubuntu desktop, but gnome-desk-top...(flashback/fallback) of 3 none work. U did not try the default Ubuntu desk-top (14.04.5) as I fricken hate it. Too inconvenient having to type desktop to find something. Just like a regular old menu and my 10 workspaces selectable on the lower Panel. Hate anything Microsoft too.

Same problem on Ubuntu 14.04 with version 0.8.1-0extras16
No values displayed (tried Open Weather Map and Yahoo). Problem occured approximatively one week ago.
