Bug Description
First of all, it is awesome that Inkscape can save as a native Synfig file! Doing so I ran into a peculiarity. When I save an Inkscape file with an object such as a circle as a Synfig file (.sif), the object is not present when I open the file in Synfig Studio. The same object converted to a path works.
How to reproduce:
* Create a drawing with objects and paths, for example circles (appended SVG file).
* Save the file as a Synfig file (.sif) (appended SIF file).
* Open the Synfig file in Synfig Studio.
Observed behavior:
* The paths are appearing in Synfig Studio
* The objects are not present.
Expected behavior:
* All drawing elements are appearing correctly.
Workaround:
* Convert objects to path before saving as Synfig file
Inkscape version: Inkscape 0.91 r13725 on Win 10 x64
Synfig version: Synfig Studio 1.0.2 on Win 10 x64
thank you for taking the time to issue a report.
I have not been able to reproduce the problem on Windows 10, using Inkscape 0.92pre5 r15287. /inkscape. org/en/ download/ development- versions/
attached is the sif file I get.
Inkscape will be issuing a new version very soon, you might want to consider upgrading at that time, or trying one of the pre-release versions at:
