OpenShot 1.4.3 crashes due to segmentation fault

OS crashes when editing short videos (<10 min, 1 video track, 1 audio track, 1 text track) while setting marks in audio/video tracks. I happened twice: the first time I run it using the Linux Mint launcher, while the second time I run it throug a terminal. This is an excerpt from the terminal output, and you will see the "segmentation fault" as the last line:

Installation method:
PPA: openshot.developers ... would be this the reason?
I have no idea where the OS logs are, so I cannot send them to you.
