Links made with Nautilus can not be deleted

Bug Description

Links made across drives fail to delete and produces an error: "Error "Not on the same file system" while deleting "..."."
However, in terminal, the "rm link_name" works fine.
If possible, a dialog asking the user whether they wanted to delete the link or the original folder (to the trash, of course) would make a much more user friendly link deletion.
Apologies if this is a duplicate bug, or if it is submitted incorrectly.

If it's of any use, the only way I could graphically delete the link was by making a folder, putting the link in the folder, and then deleting the folder.

This kinda works with Nautilus 2.21.90, if you delete the link with: right click and click on delete on the context menu it works fine and delete the link, but if you delete with a "send to trash" and then try to clean up the trash nautilus waits forever for finishing the task.
