Bug Description
[MIR] MirAL is an ABI-preserving abstraction layer for Mir, insulating them from mirserver ABI breaks.

Package available in universe since yakkety and built for all architectures.
[Rationale]
This package is crucial for future uses of mir. It's also to become a binary dependency of unity8 which is a main package (as per the Bileto ticket URL above).

No security issues found so far. The package is actively maintained - any future security issues found can be fixed in a timely fashion.
[Quality assurance]
The package is released through Bileto and each release is preceded with QA testing by the Ubuntu QA team.

All binary package dependencies are in main.

The package is maintained and owned by the mir development team.

This is mostly fine. Symbols file, bug subscriber, etc. But it doesn't run tests because it's missing some build-deps. Seems like it needs mir-renderer-gl-dev and/or mirtest-dev. Add those as deps and we're in business I think.
