Bug Description
I formatted the EFI partition(Win 10 pre-installed) during a new installation of Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
Details:
I restored Ubuntu 14.04LTS from an image from an older system with BIOS mode. But when I updated grub on new machine(which was in EFI only mode) for some reason the system was booting in to low resolution and this affected the UI inside the restored the OS also.
To fix this I installed the Ubuntu 16 just to restore the booting setup, but that did not fix the problem, so I formatted the EFI partition and then this bug(if it is) came up at the end of installation.

Your disk is currently partitioned to boot in bios mode, but you booted the 16.04 installer in EFI mode. A warning message prompted you that this could be a problem and recommended performing a bios mode install instead, but you chose not to. You either need to perform the bios mode install, or partition the disk using GPT and set up an EFI system partition to install in EFI mode. This will be done for you if you choose the "use entire disk" guided install option.
