Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Rhythmbox is bad for media library.

You can only specify your library location to one place.
But I have example /home/me/Music but also /media/music/

It would be better if you could specify a list of locations instead of just one location.

I used a music player software called musikCube it was much better. You could select "Synchronize" and it would quickly re-scan and add new files to the library, and remove entries from the library that are deleted files.

Somehow I inadvertently set both ~/Music and a network folder of music for the source of my library. I can't correct this from the Rhythmbox preferences, it always states 'Multiple locations set'. I also went into gconf-editor in attempt to delete the one unwanted library location, only the change won't keep. Every time I restart Rhythmbox the settings stay the same and the gconf file is changed back to the way it was prior to my editing. If these settings don't exist in the gconf file, where are they being saved?
