Happened whilst allowing software updater to perform an update it prompted me about.

You may need to run the following from a terminal:

sudo apt-get install -f
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update

Then re-install the package or updates.

If that does not resolve your issue, please mark the bug as "Confirmed"

Thanks for that. The first command worked and installed the kernel image update.
"sudo apt-get install -f"
