Bug Description
Original report: https:/
At least two supernovae, SN1054 and SN1181, will make huge brightness drops within seconds in Stellarium. For SN1054, this occurs at 22 September 1054, when it goes from -3.49 to +0.15 within a second. Same with SN1181, which changes from +0.54 to +4.15 also within a second on 23rd October 1181. I suppose this is some error within the modelling of brightness curve for type II-supernovae.
